Euromaster, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Michelin Group, is a retail brand specialized in tyres’ selling and related services. It also provides regular car maintenance services for retail (cars, vans, 4x4) and business customers (automobile fleets, heavy vehicles, agricultural, industrial and civil engineering vehicles, etc.).


Created in the 90s, Euromaster employs more than 10.000 people. The Group holds the biggest integrated and franchised network in Europe with more than 2.200 service centres, for light and industrial vehicles, distributed in 17 countries (1200 wholly-owned and
1000 franchised). The development over the last 7/8 years has come through franchises. 


With a turnover of 1,8 Md€, losses have increased in the last two years in all countries. Sales of Michelin Group’s tyres account for 65 % of turnover. Euromaster is behind his competitors in an after sales and regular car maintenance market with growth ratios of 2 to 3% per year. 

 

Euromaster has just initiated a major transformation program, led by a new Group CEO appointed last October.


The program consists on redefining the strategic priorities by re-aligning processes and ressources at global level, with the aim to recover the market’s profitability;

Safety is one of the major Focus in the Transformation plan and as a Priority to deploy the new Safety Program with the Group in all countries, Euromaster is looking for a PROGRAM MANAGER F/M.


Its main role will be to coordinate and facilitate the program rollout in all countries, manage relations with external partners, follow-up and track the implementation of the Safety program, write and design a safety guidelines book and process. A Safety Program team will be defined and the PMO will play a role of facilitator.

The position will be reporting to the Group Head of Safety.

Main responsibilities :

  • Plan and implement the project as initially deisgned
  • Help define specifics for each countries, such as project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Help define tasks and required resources with local teams
  • Provide guidance to local project teams, support them and collect implementation results
  • Manage budget
  • Create schedule and project timeline
  • Track deliverables
  • Manage relations with partners
  • Monitor and report project progress
  • Present reports on progress to stakeholders as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate and assess result of the overall project
 

Candidate profile:


University degree required; post-graduate in Business Management preferably or in technical major.

You have a 6-10 year professional experience,  mainly in project management. You can bring both knowledge of techniques and tools but also a sound experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management. You have already managed operational teams.

You are ideally interested by Safety matters, if not an expert.

The job requires daily contacts with all countries and some travelling abroad so language skills in english is mandatory.
